The Punisher, to be released on December
5th, 2008, is the third movie released about the Marvel comic
book character of the same name, also known as Frank Castle.
This movie has no relation to the first two.
This movie is based on Frank meeting his
hardest nemesis yet, Jigsaw.
Unlike the previous films, this film is
being done with mainly relatively unknown actors to the
general public. The first Punisher was played by then
upcoming action star Dolph Lundgren. The second was also
played by an upcoming actor in Thomas Jane. The second
movie also starred John Travolta as his foe. Julie Benz
is the most well known in this movie. Funny enough...she
will also be in Saw 5, whose main character is also named
Jigsaw.
